Homelay 30-Day Return & Refund Policy
We want you to love your purchase, but if something’s not right, we’ve got you covered. Our 30-day return policy ensures a hassle-free process to get things sorted.
How Returns Work
You’ve got 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition you received it—unused, unworn, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging.
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
Contact us at support@homelay.uk to request a return.
Once your return is approved, we’ll send you:
- A return shipping label
- Instructions on how and where to send your package.
Important: Returns sent back without first requesting approval will not be accepted.
Return Address
All returns are handled through our warehouse for faster processing. Once approved, please send your returns to:

Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect. We do not charge restocking fees. If a return package is lost in transit, we recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure it arrives safely.
Damages & Issues
We inspect every item before it leaves our warehouse, but if something slips through the cracks:
- Inspect your order when it arrives.
- If it’s damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at support@homelay.uk with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- We’ll make it right, either by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Some items are just not eligible for return:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
- Custom products (special orders, personalized items)
- Personal care goods (beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items or gift cards (unfortunately, these are final sale)

Exchanges
Want something else? Here’s the fastest way:
Return the item you have.
Once we approve the return, place a new order for the item you want.
This ensures you get the new product ASAP.
Refunds
Here’s what happens after we get your returned item:
- We’ll inspect it to make sure it meets our return criteria.
- If approved, you’ll get a refund to your original payment method within 3 business days.
Heads up:
It might take your bank or credit card company a few extra days to process the refund.
If it’s been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved and you haven’t seen the money, reach out to us at support@homelay.uk.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
- In accordance with EU Consumer Protection Law, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it—no questions asked.
- Just like above, the item must be unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
